Our Site Location:

As the plat indicates,

our location is actually in two parcels.

The smaller parcel separated by the road and bridge is is our access to the head flow. It tunnels under the roadbed to the adjoining parcel where it passes the water gate, enters a lagoon and finally into the penstock feed to the turbine.

A second generation site is also feasible below the the second dam. This additional site offers a head of 32 feet when combined with the upper dam.

The road has been abandon and the old bridge removed. The New York State Department of Highways clipped a corner off our small parcel in order to build a new bridge. The new bridge is visible on our home page. Thus far, our research has found the State did not compensate the estate for it’s exercise of “Eminent Domain”, a matter now under review.
